2.6.1 Intelligent Administrative Front End
The IRE(TM) Marketing Warehouse provides an intelligent, Windows-based, menu-driven front end to make the administration job as easy as possible. This module:

Verifies that input data is correct and without inconsistencies
Gives table lists from a chosen DB
Does type checking
Gives column statistics, showing cardinality ranges
Executes index rebuilding
Creates all maps, universes, configures all tokens
Administers security.
2.6.2 IRE(TM) Marketing Warehouse Security
The IRE(TM) Marketing Warehouse provides two levels of protection -- individual user IDs and user groups:

Row level security -- implemented at query selection time
Column level security -- implemented at data extraction time.
The administrator can set up row level security to mask rows that users or groups are not allowed to choose. In fact, there is no indication to the users that the masked rows even exist. For example, the administrator might mask rows for user group A with a query like:

If the customer's income is greater than $55,000, and the customer lives in Pennsylvania or New Jersey, then the user cannot select the row.
The administrator can also restrict users and groups from seeing certain columns within the selected rows at data extraction time.
